Warranty and statutory consumer rights
Legal protection for Smart G-Scope purchases and how to request help.
Who is covered
These statutory rights apply to consumers buying outside their trade or profession. Business purchases follow the agreed sales terms and applicable law. Separately purchased software has its own statutory conformity rights; the software licence does not waive them.
Guarantee period
For new goods under Spanish consumer law, the seller is responsible for defects present at delivery that become apparent within three years of delivery. EU consumers have at least two years of legal protection; any longer mandatory protection applicable to your purchase, including in your country of residence, is preserved.
Free remedies
For a lack of conformity, you can request repair or replacement free of charge, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or disproportionate. This includes necessary shipping, labour and materials, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. A price reduction or termination with a refund is available when the legal conditions are met.
Contact your seller
For purchases from CAPILLARY IO SL, contact [email protected] with your order reference or proof of purchase and a description of the problem. We will arrange the next steps. If you bought from another seller, contact that seller. Registration, the original packaging and a paper warranty certificate are not conditions for exercising statutory rights.
What the guarantee covers
The legal guarantee covers goods that are defective or do not match the agreed description and performance. Damage caused by misuse, accidents or normal wear is not itself a lack of conformity. Those exclusions do not remove rights for an actual product defect.
Returns and other rights
Our additional 30-day return policy does not limit statutory defect claims or withdrawal rights. Its unused-item and packaging conditions apply only to voluntary returns. Nothing in our manuals, website terms or software licence reduces mandatory consumer rights.
